Description

I shot this back in August/Sep when M1 was still low in the sky using the AT10RC and forgot all about it

Hard to compare really because this is almost 6 hours but for sure the resolution here is much tighter than the image of M1 where I used the TMB 5" refractor. This is un cropped.

I should complete the project using the AT10RC but I'm waiting on an adapter for my new OAG (off axis guider) and when I shot this I was using the C80 Short tube for guiding,

I had to throw quite a few subs out that were very much out of round.

Image Acquired using Maxim DL, stacked with Deep Sky stacker and processed with Photoshop CS4
